You start thinking, “What do I do with all of this stuff?!”
We think about this problem often and took the initiative to partner with Soles 4 Soles, a like-minded organization that gives lightly worn shoes a second chance. At Sea Star Beachwear, we see our shoes as timeless, quality products made to live in and live on. Our water-friendly espadrilles transition from season to season without the wear and tear of fast fashion footwear. Instead of disposing of last season’s leftover pairs, we want to share our well-made, water-friendly espadrilles with those in need.
Soles 4 Souls is an amazing organization that turns unwanted shoes and clothing into opportunity. Through upcycling apparel, they provide relief, create jobs and empower people to break the cycle of poverty. Since 2006, they’ve distributed more than 53 million pairs of shoes in 127 countries and all 50 US states. They’ve also kept more than 53 million pounds of textiles from going to landfills.
